Vegetables, plants and sowing

Not all cultures are collected at the same time, some plants were harvested after another, so the best use of available land is planted. This is the planting of a crop of beans grown in November and harvested in June, after a crop of leeks could then take his place. Those plants that grow quickly, like lettuce, spinach and radishes are usually between people, such as broccoli, which is harvested in March, and these plants should be grownafter planting when the soil warms up around the time of May.

To fully exploit the available space, fast-growing plants can while those that grow slowly as you sow parsnips and parsley, as these have a very slow germination period.

During the growth period for winter crops such as salads, other seeds such as beans can be added in November between them. This may in turn cross-cut potatoes. The beans make a faster start thanpotatoes and vertical growing can not interfere with the subsequent development of potato growing on the side rather successful.

The experience will help the gardener to make the best use of land. Timing is one of the basic skills in growing success and to allow maximum use of land resources.

Sowing

The seeds should be sown in the company, but not hard earth. The beds should be prepared with good weather, when soil is dry and crumbly. Start withFork on the bed to remove a depth of about 3 inches (76mm) solid lump breaking the ground, then take the country to do it fixed. Rake the top inch of soil surface back and forth until all particles is in order and the surface is flat.

How spread too liberal with the amount of seeds when the seed is probably one of the things that most gardeners are guilty, especially when you start growing plants from seed. Bare in view of the possible size of the plants, space they need to grow and develop properly, and then you have some idea of the need to be careful. To see this, consider for example that in just ¼ oz (7.5gm), parsley, there are about 4000 seeds, one seed can grow 1ft. more so, in fact, ¼ oz (7.5gm) was able to plant a number of plants would be 4,000 feet long stretch.

Keep the weeds is very important when growing vegetables, it is easier to achieve if thePlants are grown in rows. It allows easy access between plants using a hoe, which is probably the best method to remove the weeds.
